The National Mentor Summit, Disneyland Hotel October 15-18, 2001
The
National Mentor Summits provided training to mentor programs and
coalitions; recruited businesses to support mentoring, celebrated the
success of mentoring, and highlighted the public private partnership of
the California Mentor Initiative (CMI) with the California Mentor
Foundation (CMF). The primary focus of the National Mentor Summit is on
exploring ways to build partnerships to accomplish mutual goals while
developing ways to emphasize accountability of mentoring successes.
Since its inception in 1998, our biggest corporate sponsor, Disneyland
Resort, has hosted the California Mentor Summit for the past four
years.
